I have a lot of money stashed away, but I do live my life from day to day - Elton John
I have a geeky obsession towards chicklits since I was young. Not a smart confessions and an intellectual books (hhmmm YOU WRONG!!) as everytime I read these books it’s gave me uncontrollable laughter, tears and suprisingly a self motivation as well. What is chicklits anyway? Alot of people assume its must be revolves around pretty loaded blonde which is brainless, trash and wasting much time bother to read. And its definitely another misleading fairy tale for woman adult, like prince charming in their most superb car come to rescue the princess from her terrible dreadful drama life. But you will be surprise what I can found in these books. One of the book quoted " Every princess needs goals. A plan, a map, a compass. She has to know where she wants to go or she'll never get there, spending too long in dungeons, stone towers, and dangerous woods." and it continues " I don't need to kiss any more frogs. I'm done with hunting for Prince Charming. Because I don't need a man, or a relationship, to fix me. I may not be perfect, but I'm me, and I like myself just fine" very well said quoted from The Frog Prince by Jane Porter
Here I listed down some of my favourite books and their authors:
Big Girl by Danielle Steel
One of my inspirational book. Once I read it, its hard for me not to keep continuing till its end. The book reveal how I need to love myself and never tired to stand up irregardless how many times I falls.
Venus Envy, The Go – To Girl (and many more) by Louise Bagshawe
I always love this author, She always put a witty remark, emotional and yet encouraging side in almost all her books. Bagshawe never let me down.
Something Blue by Emily Griffin
After I watched the movie called "Something Borrowed". I really curious of another book from her, which is amazingly equivalent simply just great. The stage of life when we have it all perfectly then suddenly lose it all then regain all everything again to the real meaning of true happiness of life.
Jemima by Jane Green
Love this author when I was in highschool. One of my favourites book is Jemima, another eye opener book for a low self esteem girl. Appearance is not all that.
A Place Called Here, If You Could See Me Now, Where Rainbows End, P.S I love You and many other more by Cecilia Ahern
I could say that I read her books through out my final year in Uni, her books quite emotional, everytime I read her books without my self concious, tears can easily streaming down my cheeks while she directed me to front row seat in all of her stories.
